This installation has two Editors available which will help with migration. The two editors are
DW Edit

In the Dokuwiki Window See right side button about 4-5 buttons down. The DW Editor is used for normal day to day editing of the Wiki.
CKG Edit
- CK Editor is similar to the Druple editor (does HTML) and should be used less frequently. It is used for migrating HRML, into Dokuwiki format. See bottom button or top right.
During migration, initially, the
CKG Editor must be used because it accepts
HTML.
After pasting
HTML from the old Druple site and then “Saving” the page, the native
DW Editor can be used which is using native
Dokuwiki syntax rather than
HTML.
In fact, it is probably best to continue editing in Dokuwiki Editor (DW Edit) after migrating the page by using CKG Edit. We have found the formatting and underlying code may change somewhat when switching back and forth, which we have found to be counterproductive.
Translation is automatic between the two editors, but when you have finished Migration and the first Editing with CKG Edit, please “Save”, then check the format and then try to stick with DW Edit for continued editing. We have found that going back to CKG Edit causes changes that are not so subtle, in that a lot of page breaks “\\” are added and the code looses line spacing. So try to stick to using DW Edit after the html migration page has been “saved”, please.
